The Opportunity: Drive multi-million dollar Impact
Join our Professional Services team as a Senior Network Security Engineering Consultant and directly impact our clients' most critical security initiatives. You will architect and deploy cutting-edge security solutions in state-of-the-art environments, working with some of the largest and most complex networks in the world.
Drive Client Success & Revenue Growth
  • Lead strategic deployments for our federal client with networks spanning 1000+ devices
  • Architect solutions that align with client security objectives and deliver measurable improvements
  • Support client success and identify opportunities for platform expansion
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including technical teams, project managers, and security leadership
Technical Leadership & Innovation
  • Deploy and optimize RedSeal platform across complex hybrid cloud environments
  • Integrate with enterprise tools including Splunk, Azure Sentinel, ServiceNow, and SIEM platforms
  • Develop automation scripts (Python/API) to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort
  • Create custom workflows, dashboards, and reporting solutions for security compliance
Strategic Impact & Thought Leadership
  • Support cross-functional teams through technical implementations and integrations
  • Train client teams on security best practices and platform optimization
  • Contribute insights to product development based on field experience
  • Participate in industry events and client technical discussions
Must-have skills
  • 5+ years in network/security engineering or architecture with customer-facing delivery.
  • Network security at scale: routing/switching/firewalls/load-balancing; confident with IPv4/IPv6, NAT, BGP/OSPF/EIGRP, IPsec/GRE, MPLS/VPLS, VLANs/STP.
  • Cloud & SIEM: real deployments in AWS/Azure plus Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel content (dashboards, detections, reports).
  • Automation: Python for APIs/reporting/data normalization; comfortable with JSON/YAML/XML, or low code solutions like n8n, zapier, and nifi.
  • Segmentation & exposure reduction: practical experience finding/fixing risky paths across hybrid estates.
  • Compliance literacy: map controls and produce evidence (NIST RMF, DISA STIGs, PCI DSS, ISO 27001).
  • Demonstrated business impact: Examples of driving revenue, cost savings, or efficiency improvements
  • DoD 8140.03 formerly 8570 level II certification (e.g. CompTIA Security +, CySA+, Pentest +, CCNA, GIAC GSEC).
  • Security Clearance TS/SCI with a CI Poly or higher.
Nice-to-haves
  • Reverse-engineering/extensibility (plugins, alternative data feeds), ServiceNow workflow integration.
  • SOAR + scripting beyond Python (PowerShell/bash); Terraform/CloudFormation basics.
  • Certs: CISSP, CCSP, CySA+, Security+, AWS/Azure Fundamentals, ITIL.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered security tools, automated analysis, or machine learning applications

  • Map customer objectives to platform capabilities; build a practical integration plan and execute it.
  • Deliver standard + custom training and document work so it is repeatable.
  • Propose adjacent value (new data sources, use cases, or automation that removes busywork).
